About Me
My name is Gladys Tau, I am an accredited Clinical Psychologist with Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and with Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). I obtained Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, Masters of Social Sciences in Research Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Honours in Psychology from the University of Venda, and BA Degree from the University of Limpopo.
I am a multilingual and culture sensitive therapist who has worked in several clinical settings, such as Klerksdorp/Tshepong Complex hospital, Weskoppies, and Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital. I also worked at the correctional setting with both male and female offenders in various centres within Kgoši Mampuru II Correctional Centre. Currently, I am a practicing Clinical Psychologist in private providing psychological services to Individuals, Couples, Families, Groups, and children from the age of 6.
Throughout life, we encounter various challenges and psychological difficulties that can impact our wellbeing. Therefore, I believe that investing in psychotherapy is essential for achieving optimal mental health. By fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship, I aim to guide my clients on their journey towards personal growth, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

I believe in the notion that each individual has unique lived-experiences as such, my approach to psychotherapy is integrative, allowing me to tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
